Woven or printed
Printing sits on the webbing; weaving is the webbing. That makes woven lanyards the right call for anything worn beyond a single event — staff credentials, membership programs, anything that will be washed or handled for months. The trade-off is detail: weaving reproduces text and simple shapes cleanly but cannot hold a gradient or a photograph. For artwork like that, use dye sublimation instead.
Getting artwork right for weaving
Keep the design to solid shapes and text at a readable weight. Very fine lines and small type lose definition in the weave. Send us the artwork before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will hold up woven or whether you are better off printing it.
