Custom Tubular Lanyards With Your Logo

Tubular lanyards are woven as a continuous round tube rather than cut from flat webbing, so they sit softer against the neck and hold a rounder profile. Available in 3/8″ and 5/8″ with clamshell, buckle-release, split-ring and double-clip fittings.

Tubular or flat webbing

A flat lanyard gives you a wider, squarer print area and is the cheaper option at volume — it is what most conference orders end up on. A tubular lanyard trades some of that print width for comfort: the rounded profile has no edge to dig in, which people notice when a credential is worn for eight hours rather than an afternoon. It also drapes rather than twisting, so the badge tends to stay forward on its own.

The print behaves differently too. On flat webbing the design sits on one face. On a tube it wraps, so a repeating pattern or a wordmark that reads from several angles works better here than a single centered logo.

Widths and fittings

3/8″ is the slimmest and lowest cost — enough for a short wordmark. 5/8″ is the workhorse width and carries most of the fitting options: a plastic clamshell with O-ring, a snap-buckle or slide-buckle release, a metal crimp with metal split ring for anything worn daily, or a double bulldog clip that holds the badge flat instead of letting it swing.

If you want full-color artwork on a tubular lanyard, ask for the dye-sublimated version — see Dye Sublimated. For the flat equivalents, start from Lanyards.
