Lanyards & Badge Reels With a Bulldog Clip

The bulldog clip is the default fitting for a punched conference badge — a sprung metal jaw wide enough to grip card stock without the punch hole tearing through it. Everything here ships with one already fitted.

Bulldog, alligator or swivel hook

A bulldog clip has a wide flat jaw and the strongest grip of the three, which is why it is the standard for badges people wear all day. An alligator clip is narrower and lighter, better suited to a thin card or a badge reel where weight matters. A swivel hook does not clamp at all — it hooks through a punched slot and rotates, so the badge always turns face-forward. If your badge stock is thick or your event runs more than a day, take the bulldog.

Double bulldog clips

A double-ended lanyard with a bulldog clip at each end holds a badge flat against the chest instead of letting it swing and flip. It reads better in photos and stops the badge turning backwards every time the wearer moves — worth the small extra cost for speaker badges, press credentials and anything being scanned repeatedly.
