RPET, bamboo and cotton
RPET is polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles. It looks and behaves almost identically to virgin polyester — same print quality, same strength, same price bracket — which makes it the easiest substitution to justify. Bamboo and organic cotton read as more visibly natural and are the better choice when the material itself is part of the message.
Making the claim defensible
If the sustainability credential has to stand up to scrutiny — a public tender, an annual report, a client’s procurement team — ask us for the specific material composition before you order rather than relying on the category label. We will send what we have from the supplier so you can state something accurate rather than something vague.
