What the second attachment fixes
A single-ended lanyard lets the badge spin. Within an hour most people at an event are wearing their credential face-inward, which defeats the point of printing it. Two attachment points hold the card square and stop it flipping, so names stay readable and scanners get a clean read first time.
Where it is worth the extra
