What reflective actually does here
The reflective element is woven into the webbing, not printed on top of it, so it does not wear off with handling. It works by returning light toward its source — it does not glow on its own and does nothing in the dark without a light on it. That makes it useful exactly where vehicles are involved: loading bays, parking operations, roadside events, outdoor overnight shifts.
Treat it as a visibility aid rather than as PPE. A reflective lanyard supplements a hi-vis vest; it does not replace one, and it will not satisfy a specification that calls for certified high-visibility apparel.
What is available
The range runs 3/4″ with a plastic clamshell and O-ring or a buckle release, plus a recycled polyester version and a reflective wrist lanyard. Two of the options are made from recycled material, which is useful if the order has to satisfy a sustainability requirement as well as a safety one — see Eco-Friendly.
If the lanyards are for a site with machinery or for a school, add a breakaway safety release as well. Visibility and a safety release solve different problems and most sites that require one require the other.
